The second edition of the Summer School on Prospective Modeling and Energy Transition which be held in Sophia-Antipolis, France from June 15-20, 2020.
The Scientific Committee, chaired by Nadia Maïzi (CMA, MINES ParisTech PSL Research University), has prepared a high-quality scientific program and an exciting social schedule for this Second Summer School on Prospective Modeling and Energy Transition, with the support of the ETSAP (Energy Technology Systems Analysis Program). We are looking forward to hosting young researchers and students for an intense week dedicated to prospective issues in a convivial atmosphere on the French Riviera.
This year, the focus of the Summer School will be on vulnerabilities of territories, including: specific geographical features, resource scarcity, technical systems requirements, geopolitical issues, and human and social factors.
To better fill the needs of all participants, this year’s prospective study project has been designed with two levels of TIMES users in mind, beginners and advanced, so that they all get a chance to develop or improve their TIMES skills during the Summer School.
Candidates wishing to be considered will need to submit a CV and cover letter. The deadline for applications is May 15, 2020.
